We are pleased to announce that during the February VCCAR Board of Directors Meeting, the Directors voted unanimously to honor two longtime VCCAR members in Memoriam.
VCCAR members Jeff Comstock and Jim Keith remain beloved in the REALTOR® community; their dedication will live on with those that knew and loved them. VCCAR honors their memory by dedicating areas of our headquarters to them as a testament to their tireless pursuit of excellence in real estate.
Jeff Comstock
Jeff was instrumental in leading our association in acquiring the land and building for our Oxnard association headquarters. Still today, members and visitors comment on how modern and beautiful our building is. Jeff also served as President for two terms, 1998 and 2003. The board room will now be named the Jeff Comstock Board Room in honor of his contributions.
Jim Keith
Most of us know Jim for his love of everything, ethics, and passion for teaching and continual learning. At any given moment, you could ask Jim to recite a portion of the 17 Articles of the NAR Code of Ethics, and without fail, he would repeat it verbatim. In that spirit, the VCCAR training facility will be named The Jim Keith Education Center, a center for Ethics, Knowledge, and Professionalism in his honor.
