As a CRMLS Systems Trainer, it’s my duty to educate members on all CRMLS applications through various methods. Growing up in Fort Bragg and then moving to Lake Tahoe, my journey led me to real estate in 2002. Now, with 20 years of experience, my passion for helping others, especially fellow REALTORS®, finds a new purpose at CRMLS in Southern California. Honored with three Distinguished Service awards, I strive to give back, volunteering for causes close to my heart.

As a REALTOR®, I am a community advocate, mentor, and trusted advisor in the local real estate community. My successful transactions span West Ventura County, including Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Ojai, Santa Paula, and Fillmore. I’ve earned a reputation as a trusted real estate professional.

I’m actively involved in various boards and charities, serving as 2022 VCCAR President, Director at the California Association of REALTORS®, and Vice Chairman of the VCCAR Grievance Committee. I also nurture the next generation of real estate professionals through the Keller Williams West Ventura County Associate Leadership Council.

As a Broker Associate at Vista Sotheby’s International Realty, I am honored to have served as the 2021 PVPAR President-Elect and past President.  My leadership extends beyond local levels to state and national realms, where I have held roles at the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. 2010, I initiated the Young Professional Network at PVPAR and nurtured its growth. Before joining Vista | Sotheby’s, I was a top producer, achieving the #1 sales position for seven consecutive years at Shorewood Realtors. My reputation is built on my work ethic and candid style, and I am known for delivering results even in challenging real estate markets.

Art Carter is the CEO of California Regional MLS, Inc. (CRMLS), the nation’s largest multiple listing service (MLS), serving over 100,000 real estate professionals.

Carter has overseen strategic direction of the company as Chief Executive Officer since 2005. He previously served as CEO of the Pacific West Association of REALTORS®.

Carter is a tenacious advocate for brokers who leads initiatives for MLS data sharing in California and beyond. He has served as a volunteer leader across the industry, including in the MLS RoundTable and roles as Chair of the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) and the Council of MLS (CMLS).

Since 1993, I’ve been immersed in real estate. Starting from customer service at a title company, I transitioned into escrow, serving as an officer, manager, and trainer. I’ve earned accolades, including a Certificate of Achievement from the California Escrow Association and designations as a Certified Escrow Officer and Certified Bulk Sale Specialist. I have actively engaged in the Ventura County Escrow Association since ’97 and served as President in ’99. My education at UCLA included the eleven courses needed for my California Real Estate Broker’s License. Later, I pursued law, graduating with honors in 2006. Now, as the principal at RELAW, APC, I leverage my diverse expertise to benefit my clients.

Since 1996, I’ve delved into the real estate realm, studying sales, marketing, communication, consumer behaviors, and tech innovations. I’ve seamlessly integrated modern strategies into numerous successful ventures. Later, I joined the nation’s leading real estate association as Director of Industry Outreach. My efforts garnered praise from esteemed platforms like Inman News and recognition from notable figures like Stefan Swanepoel. Now, as a speaker, consultant, and mentor to tech companies, I’m dedicated to empowering real estate entrepreneurs with practical insights to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the “Age of Amazon.”

As the Senior vice president and chief Economist at the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.), I lead housing market research and policy analysis for legislative and governmental affairs. With a passion for homeownership and fair housing, I represent C.A.R. to members, policymakers, and the media. My academic background includes a bachelor’s in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a master’s in International Economics from the University of Sussex. Before C.A.R., I worked in consulting for various clients.

As a former professional figure skater, I’ve journeyed across the globe for my sport, yet nothing compares to returning to Ventura, my sunny haven. Real Estate isn’t just my job; it’s my passion. I thrive on assisting others, ensuring their dreams materialize. My commitment surpasses expectations, striving relentlessly to fulfill my clients’ desires. With expertise in Marketing, Social Media, Sales, and more, I earned my BA in Broadcast Journalism from California State University-Northridge, equipping me for diverse endeavors.

With a foundation in psychology, I fuse innovation and empathy to drive impactful ventures. I founded J.J. Grace, Inc., landing on the Inc. 500 list. I directed Vertis, optimizing operations. I innovated Real Estate Shows for virtual tours. I drove tech ventures like RealSatisfied and Immoviewer. I co-created Tangilla, a pioneering REALTOR® Association Management Platform. Now, I guide startups and cherish family time with my wife, Rocky, and our six children.
