Green Thumbs and Helping Hands Unite – A Successful Day of Community Service at the 2023 REALTOR® Volunteer Days!

On June 6th, 40 VCCAR members gathered at the Veterans Home of Ventura for a day filled with teamwork, community spirit, and gratitude. The occasion was part of the annual NAR REALTOR® Volunteer Days celebrated this year between June 3rd – June 11th.

Our volunteers started bright and early, dressed in comfortable clothes, ready for gardening work, and prepared to tackle various tasks in the veteran’s garden. From planting new seeds to giving the benches a fresh coat of paint, there was plenty of work for everyone to contribute their unique skills and talents.

REALTOR® Volunteer Days is a true testament to the giving nature of real estate professionals. It exemplifies the spirit of being good neighbors as members of the REALTOR® community came together to support a cause close to their hearts. It’s in their DNA to give back, whether through individual acts of kindness or organizing community-wide initiatives.

The VCCAR YPN (Young Professionals Network) Committee was proud to host this remarkable event, and they extend their heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who made it possible.
